FRANCISCO I

King of France, son of Carlos de Valois count of Angulema, and of Luisa of Savoy. He married Greengage, daughter of Luis XII, and to the death of this one he was nominated a king by the name of Francisco I. He was a protagonist with Carlos V of the famous rivalry between the houses of France and Austria. Educated man very fond of the poetry and of the fine arts in general.
